Summer Outing With My Mother & Her Classmates in BMC College at Ruvi Cave

I'm very excited to go at Ruvi Cave Resort where my mom and her classmates went for there summer outing, from Brgy. Tisa, Cebu City near Labangon I ride a jeep to Punta Princesa Church. I was waiting for a jeepney going to Brgy. Tungkop, Minglanilla Cebu City where the Ruvi Cave Resort located, it's 40mins. to arrived at the Brgy. Tungkop.


Then ride a motorcycle to Ruvi Cave Resort. I was just excited to see the place because I though it's a natural cave like Timubo Cave at Camotes Island but when I was arrived I was a bit discourage. I except it's a natural cave but is not, it's a man maid cave. But it's good that place was very good at all, around 4-8ft. swimming pool. The cottages and the facilities is good.

Classmates of my mom that enjoyed the swimming pool, my mother wearing white shirt and flower pants. I just observing them all the time and they are like children's, I was thinking if someday I can do this with my other batch or the same age when we got a individual families. I wish it will happen someday but not today.


Here you can see the whole man maid cave in Ruvi Cave Resort, it's a small one cave but inside you can experience a truth like some cave.

I think weekdays is the best day to come here, very few people and you can enjoyed the place with your family or your love ones in this place. It's secured with CCTV camera and active life guard that can help you if you are in danger in the swimming pool.


These canteen provides WiFi, you can't used WiFi if you don't buy foods here. They provide softdrinks, junk foods, and other.

My Adventure in Camotes Island with the Cebu Technological University(CTU) Family

I enjoyed staying in the Camotes Island in Sanfrancisco. Its my first time to go alone outside in Cebu, because my friends arrived already there. I went to Pier which is located in Danao, Cebu and get a ticket to Camotes Island. I arrive in Danao at 12nn then boarding the barge around 1pm, I've been arrived at 4pm in the afternoon to Camotes Pier.


I used to ride a motorbike or "Habal-Habal" to went to my destination at CTU Camotes Campus where my friends waiting. The transportation there is only motorbike or "Habal-Habal" and the wind is very refreshing.


When I arrived in CTU Camotes Campus they welcomed me with a smile. I stayed one of there rooms for 2 days with the Steering Committee. I used to be there official photographer to said  activity.


This mangrove are been raise by the students of CTU Camotes Campus, they preserve such trees like these so they can help the mother nature and produce more fishes. 


And also they have a fishery to breed some fish like Tilapia & Milkfish or what we called "Bangus". I enjoyed riding the boat with my friends, they'd been my tour guide the fishery.


We went to Santiago Bay Resort, we stayed for 1 day. Its very nice place with a white sand and very beautiful sights. It like Boracay the food, the sea, the swimming pool and the place is amazing. 


How to get to Camotes Island, Cebu

  • From Cebu City, ride a jeep going to SM then ride a jeep going to Danao. Just tell the driver to drop you off to Danao Pier. Its a 40 mins ride from Cebu City. Jeepney Fare is PHP 35.
  • Go inside the port, get some ticket and terminal fee for the boat or barge. Ticket fee is PHP 180 and terminal fee is PHP 5 about 3 to 4 hours to get there in Camotes.

I'm very happy to be part of the CTU family even though I'm not belong to them. I wish we could meet each other again.
